Impacted By The Fuel Crisis, Russians Snap Up Chinese EVs

Russia’s vast territory, harsh climate, and underdeveloped charging infrastructure have long constrained the development of electric vehicles. However, according to Reuters, as Ukraine escalates its attacks on Russia’s energy infrastructure in recent weeks, leading to shortages of gasoline and diesel supplies and the implementation of restrictions in most regions, some drivers are turning to electric vehicles amid the increasingly severe energy crisis.
