Hong Kong’s first electric vehicle battery processing facility opens; Chief Executive: Injecting new momentum into the green economy.

Hong Kong’s first battery recycling facility held its opening ceremony yesterday. The facility can process 20,000 electric vehicle batteries annually, converting them into recyclable materials for battery production, thus promoting the development of a circular economy. In a video address, Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee said that the opening of the facility marks a significant step forward for Hong Kong in electric vehicle battery recycling and resource regeneration, injecting new momentum into the development of a green economy.
