Hainan Announces Ban on Sale of Gasoline-Powered Vehicles by 2030, Becoming the First Province in Mainland China to Implement the Ban
Hainan Province recently announced that it will steadily promote the ban on the sale of gasoline-powered vehicles by 2030 and plans to achieve the full electrification of all vehicles by 2030. If the plan is implemented as scheduled, Hainan will become the first provincial-level administrative region in mainland China to stop selling gasoline-powered vehicles.
