Kwun Tong charging and gas station land for tender sale
The government today opened tender for a site on Wai Lok Street in Kwun Tong designated for a high-speed electric vehicle charging station and LPG refueling station. The tender closes on October 9th.
The site, located at New Kowloon Inland Lot 6681, covers an area of 5,896 square meters. The sale documents have been uploaded to the Lands Department website.
The Environment and Ecology Bureau stated that the site is intended for both a high-speed electric vehicle charging station and LPG refueling nozzles, replacing the existing dedicated LPG refueling station on Wai Lok Street in Kwun Tong, which needed to be relocated to accommodate new school buildings developed by the Vocational Training Council. Furthermore, the site has a larger area available for retail use than traditional gas stations, allowing operators greater flexibility to cater to the needs of both electric and LPG vehicle drivers.
