Now, this pain point may be on the verge of a revolutionary breakthrough! Halo Energy has announced a deep collaboration with XPeng Motors to launch the world’s first “X-Energy Megawatt-level Flash Charging System” in Hong Kong, with the first location chosen as “Tung Po” in San Po Kong. This system achieves a groundbreaking charging power exceeding 1MW (megawatt). Real-world testing with XPeng’s latest electric vehicle showed that it can replenish 450 kilometers of range in just 9 minutes, with a peak charging power of 619.6kW, marking the official arrival of a new era of “same speed as gasoline” for electric vehicles.
