(中文) 油價漲+「一換一」終止 港人購車陷兩難

The continued tensions in the Middle East have pushed up global oil prices, leading to a corresponding increase in local oil prices in HK. Meanwhile, HK’s “one-for-one” electric vehicle trade-in program is set to end at the end of March. These combined factors have created difficulties for HK residents in purchasing vehicles. Lee Yiu-pui, Honorary Life President of the Automobile Association of Hong Kong, suggests that the government extend the “one-for-one” program to encourage citizens to purchase EVs to cope with high oil prices, thereby accelerating the phasing out of gasoline-powered vehicles and responding to the national green energy policy.
